2020 Census
Overview:
As the 2020 Census approached, OKC leaders needed residents to understand what was at stake. The City of Oklahoma City and the Be Counted OKC Committee worked with Heeler Marketing to develop a bilingual, city-wide digital campaign to promote census participation in historically undercounted communities. Messaging in English and Spanish addressed misinformation and emphasized its impact on essential services. The successful campaign helped OKC surpass the national response rate, positively impacting our city’s resources for the next decade.
